Terrorism and Islam?

Sally Kern reveals the depth of her ignorance and bigotry when she pairs terrorism and Islam as if they are one and the same.

When will these Neanderthals understand that Christianity has just as many terrorists amongst its adherents as does Islam?

When will dingbats like Sally Kern understand that the vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists but–quite the opposite–are responsible, hard-working, peaceful people?

Mrs. Kern’s remark about Islam is just as despicable as her philippic against gay citizens. Both aspects of her diatribe should be denounced by the gay community and all others who believe in human rights and religious tolerance.

Note: I realize that most Muslim organizations oppose civil rights for LGBT people. However, that does not mean that we should condone or ignore hate speech and discrimination against Arab peoples and Muslims.

To ignore the fact that Muslims were also attacked by Sally Kern in her hate-filled tirade would make us hypocrites of the first order.
